Microsoft recently released the Xbox app for Android and iOS . This new app allows you to access your Xbox game library from virtually anywhere in your home using your mobile device. Not to be confused with xCloud, the new Xbox app uses your own console to stream games, meaning it only relies on your local network. This should theoretically help reduce stuttering and offer minimal response times, which should result in a smooth gaming experience.
How to Connect an Xbox Controller to a Phone (Works 100% on iPhone, iPad, or Android Phones!)
While it’s a great feature, you’ll likely still need your Xbox controller to play the games that now need to be paired with your iOS device. If you don’t know how to pair an Xbox controller to your iPhone or iPad, just follow the guide below.
Put your Xbox controller into pairing mode by holding down the Xbox button and the pair button on top. Once the light on the Xbox button starts flashing, you can let go.
