This article explains how to set up your media library in VLC Media Player so you can play your music collection.

It's a good idea to configure VLC to automatically save and reload your media library when you start the program.

Select the Tools tab and select Preferences. On a Mac, select VLC from the menu bar and then Preferences.

Access the advanced menu by selecting All or Show All in the Show Settings section.
