Instagram stories are casual photos or short videos where you share what you’re doing at that moment with your followers. When you post a new story, it appears in your followers’ home tabs as a bubble at the top of their feed and automatically disappears after 24 hours.
Open the Instagram app on your iOS or Android device and, if necessary, log in to your account or switch to the account you want to use.
Select your story profile photo at the top of the Home feed, or swipe right on the screen from the Home feed to open the Story camera tab.
