Instagram has been pretty focused on upgrading its features lately. The company recently launched Quiet Mode for the platform, which allows you to take a break from Instagram and focus on the task at hand. You can set Quiet Mode to automatically turn on during your busy hours, and Instagram will warn teenagers every time they spend too much time on the platform late at night. Meta has now released another aesthetic feature for Instagram, called Dynamic Profile Photo. So what is this new feature? And how can you use it on Instagram? Let’s find out!
How to Use Instagram's New Dynamic Profile Photo (2023)
Instagram introduced the ability to create avatars (like Snapchat) in 2020. You can style and create your avatar based on your real appearance, allowing you to greet your followers and profile visitors with your avatar. Unfortunately, the only downside to this new feature was that you had to choose between your profile picture and avatar when editing your profile.
Dynamic Profile Photo now helps change that by displaying both your profile photo and avatar on your profile. Additionally, the new feature adds animations to your avatar, which can further enhance the aesthetic appeal of your profile. Dynamic Profile Photo has now been released to users globally, meaning you can now use it directly on your profile.
All you need to do is add your avatar to your profile photo to use this feature. As long as you have created an avatar, a dynamic profile photo will automatically work in your favor once you add it to your profile photo. However, if you haven’t created an avatar yet, follow the steps below to help you create your avatar on Instagram. You can then enable the dynamic profile photo feature by adding it to your profile photo. Let’s get started.
