You may not encounter many Anomalies that deal acid damage at the beginning of the game, but you will once you cross the wall into the mid zone. Once you're there, you'll need to know how to avoid acid damage in Pacific Drive.

The car will take the most damage, so your priority should be to upgrade the body parts. You can do this at the Fabricator in Oppy's garage. Go to the Body tab and open it. There you will find three car upgrades that will improve your acid damage protection.
