Dukmar is an arrogant god, which makes defeating him in Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn all the more satisfying. But he won’t go down without a fight, so you’ll need to learn the best tips and tricks to defeat this boss.
How to Easily Defeat Dukmar in Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn (Cheese Strategy)
Unlike Rammuha, who has two layers of armor, Dukmar only has one. You have to fill his Priming Gauge and then land a critical hit to strip him of his armor. After you do that, he becomes a lot easier to fight.
My approach to defeating Dukmar in Flintlock was simple: go in, land a few hits, and then jump out—literally. Dukmar has a ton of area-of-effect attacks, but if you jump over them, they won’t damage you. His melee attacks can also be tough to parry, but they’re short-ranged, so I opted to dodge my way out—or jump over them. Finally, in his second phase of the fight, he starts firing fast-moving projectiles of light, making the distance you put between you and him increasingly valuable.
Since you'll be dodging a lot in this fight, I recommend equipping the Sunderer's Set. If you equip at least two Sunderer's items, your dodges will teleport you a short distance, making it easier to dodge enemy attacks. The Sunderer's Pauldron also slows enemy movement for 1.5 seconds, giving you a bit more time to jump back at Dukmar, land a few hits, and then retreat.
