Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO brings back every classic battle from the Dragon Ball series with updated graphics and fast-paced gameplay. A very early obstacle in the Goku episode of the main story is the battle against Great Ape Vegeta. Here's how to defeat Vegeta easily.

After completing the Goku vs Vegeta fight in Goku's Saga or Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO, you will be directed to the next main quest: Vegeta's Secret Maneuver. This fight will be the conclusion of Goku and Vegeta's first encounter, where you, as Goku, must defeat Vegeta after he transforms into a Great Ape. This iconic fight from Dragon Ball Z may be more difficult than it looks.

After listening to Vegeta’s chilling threat, it’s time to take on his Great Ape form. Some of the mechanics may seem familiar to you if you’ve played the older Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi games. The most important one is that you can’t use Rush-based Super attacks on giant enemies, including Great Ape Vegeta. This means you’ll want to avoid using your Kaio-ken attack at all costs.

The second thing to note is that while you can damage Vegeta, you can't make him flinch with most of your attacks. To stagger him, you'll need to max out your Sparking! meter and unleash a barrage of attacks on him. Great Ape Vegeta also has more offense and defense than Goku, so taking too many hits in a row can mean a quick defeat.
