The trick to dealing damage to Athena is that you need to use ground units, as they are the only units that can deal damage to her. This means that if you use other units, such as air or hybrid units, Athena will not take any damage from them. Here are some tips on how to defeat her in Anime Defenders.

You'll want to look for powerful ground troops first, because dealing damage doesn't necessarily mean you can defeat her. Some great options to look into are Fire Leg Master, The Beast, Cused Fighter, Chief of Ice, Ant King, Water Swordmaster or Skull Warrior, and many more.

These units are certainly not the only ones you should be targeting, as there are many more powerful units, but these generally do well against Athena. Once you figure out the units, upgrade and assemble your team to go after the boss.
