This article explains how to delete apps on a Samsung phone. Older Samsung models may have one or two menu items that differ, but you should be able to follow these steps regardless of your Android version.
The First Apps You Should UNINSTALL on Your Samsung Galaxy
The fastest way to permanently delete an app is to press and hold its icon on the Home screen and select Delete > OK.
Another quick way to remove apps from your device, especially if they don't appear on your home screen, is to follow the same process as above, but via the app bar.
On the home screen, swipe up from the bottom of the screen or tap the app icon (if you have a theme that displays this icon).
