When you browse the web on your iPhone, the mobile browsers Safari and Chrome keep track of the websites you visit. When you visit a website frequently, the browsers recognize it as a frequently visited or favorite site. This makes the site icon immediately available to you when you open a new tab.
If your preferences change, you're concerned about your privacy, or you just want to delete your list of frequently visited sites and start over, you can easily delete your most visited sites in Safari and Chrome.
In Safari, icons for sites you visit often appear under the Frequently Visited heading when you open a new tab. You can easily remove these sites one by one.
