This article explains how to delete games on a PS5. Instructions apply to the PlayStation 5 Standard and Digital Editions.

Recently played games and apps will appear on the PS5 home screen. If the game is available on the Home menu, here's the easiest way to remove it from the console:

In the Home menu, highlight the game you want to delete.

Press the Options button on the PS5 controller. It’s the small button to the right of the touchpad.
