How to find The Wanderer in Fortnite (all locations)
The only way to destroy a medium chest is by using an uncommon or higher rarity Pickaxe in LEGO Fortnite. Generally, higher level chests require higher level pickaxes to break them. As a result, you cannot destroy them with your hands or even a regular Pickaxe.
During my playthrough I found that a medium chest required 2-3 hits from an unusual Pickaxe, but only one hit from an Epic rarity pickaxe. It is worth noting though that a Pickaxe is a special tool that is not directly available in the game.
