You’ll notice piles of dirt on the ground as you explore the Tamûra grasslands, but you don’t have a shovel to dig them up. In Creatures of Ava, you can only use your Nafitar and tamed creatures to interact with the environment, and that includes piles of dirt.

You can dig up dirt piles by taming a creature called Tama in Creatures of Ava. In the area where you craft a consumable during the Warm Invitation quest, there is the first dirt pile you can dig up nearby and a rescue bot. Before you take the Ura to the rescue bot, connect to it to break the pink jelly barrier a bit uphill.

There you will see two Tama creatures. They are blue and yellow with a duck-like beak and what looks like a claw on their head. Use the flute and imitate the melody they make to tame them. They will start following you, so you can take them to the dirt mountain and make contact with them to use the Earthquake ability.

The dirt pile will then open up and there will be a consumable. These can be things like Stamina Brews, Healing Brews, and Agility Brews. You don't lose anything special if you don't dig up a dirt pile if you don't feel like taking the Tama to dig it up.
