A status notification feature that no one asked for in Discord is back, and unfortunately many people now have it when they enter a voice chat. You might be wondering how to turn it off, or what to do about the “Chilling Tbh” status when you’re in Discord.

For those with Discord Nitro, the Chilling Tbh status message will appear next to your name when you’re in a voice channel conversation. You’ll see it to the right of your profile name during a voice chat conversation, and it will show up on your Discord profile page on the right side of every Discord server you’re in, regardless of whether the voice chat you’re in is for that specific server. It will also appear on your profile when someone clicks on your name anywhere on Discord, which will show you your Discord voice chat location if you’re sharing servers. Luckily, there’s a workaround for this.

There are two ways to remove the Chilling tbh status page from your Discord profile. The standard way to do this is to click the Clear Status option next to your Discord icon while in a voice chat channel or to make your Discord profile invisible. Both will immediately remove the Chilling tbh icon next to your name. The Clear Status option will leave behind a plus icon that you can click to re-enable the status or create a custom status to share with your Discord friends.

If your Discord profile is invisible, no one will be able to see if you are online and you will automatically be marked as Offline even if you are actively using your Discord profile and are with friends. It is the only way to ensure that the Chilling tbh option will never appear on your Discord profile or any other option available when using Discord.
