Setting up two-step verification is a smart way to keep your Outlook.com account secure. However, for devices that only you use, you can turn off two-step verification to get access to emails more quickly. On these trusted devices, you’ll sign in once with your password and code, and then sign in with just the password. If a trusted device goes missing, you can revoke this easy access using any browser.
