Sticky Keys is an accessibility feature of Microsoft Windows that makes keyboard shortcuts easier. Instead of having to press all of the shortcut keys at once, Sticky Keys keeps modifier keys such as Ctrl, Alt, and the Windows key active, so you can press one key at a time.

By default, Sticky Keys is automatically enabled when you press the Shift key five times in a row. This article shows you how to disable Sticky Keys.

You can disable Sticky Keys with the same keyboard shortcut you use to enable it. Simply press the Shift key five times.
