This article explains how to suggest edits to Google Maps locations, both from a desktop web browser and from a mobile device.
Editing a custom map in Google Maps
Google Maps uses detailed maps and stitched-together satellite imagery to display homes, streets, and landmarks. Most of the time, this framework works well, but occasionally a structure may be in the wrong location or missing altogether, or an address may be listed incorrectly.
Google lets users submit edits to Google Maps. All edits used to be submitted through what was called the Map Maker tool, but now you do it directly through Google Maps. Google employees review your proposed changes before they go into effect.
