This article explains how to revise your posts on X (formerly Twitter) by copying the existing tweet, deleting it, and posting a revised version, since X does not have an "edit" function. The instructions in this guide are for the PC browser version; however, these instructions will also work on Mac and on the Android and iOS apps.

You can quickly delete an unwanted post if you make a typo or no longer want it in your feed. Here's how:

Find the tweet you want to delete and select the arrow on the right to reveal a drop-down menu.

Select Delete again to confirm.
