In the Vampire Survivors DLC called Ode to Castlevania, you can find 20 new characters and a bunch of new weapons and shields. One of the items you can unlock is Alucard's Shield, which is an awesome item. Here's how to unlock this coveted shield.

To unlock Alucard's Shield, you need to evolve Alucard's Sworb into Alcard's Swords by reaching max level with the Sworb. Alcard's Swords then needs to be maxed out (this also unlocks Christopher Belmont). After that, you'll need five other evolved items and you'll need to get six passive items in one run. Once you've met all those requirements, every chest you open has a chance of containing Alucard's Shield.
Alucard's Shield is a floating shield that damages enemies around you. It also stuffs all evolved items into a single slot on your weapon bar, allowing you to pick up weapons again while still holding onto your old weapons.
In order to unlock Alucard so you can get his shield, you must first unlock Trevor Belmont. Trevor is unlocked by defeating the Giant Medusa Head with Leon Belmont, and Leon is unlocked by opening the first coffin; this coffin is located to the right of where you spawn, near the bridge to the castle.
