iMovie is Apple's free video editing software for macOS and iOS. It's a great tool for cutting up home movies and other amateur films. Once you've finished your video project, you can quickly and easily share it or upload it to YouTube, Vimeo, and more. All you need to know is how to export iMovie files.

If you want to share your iMove file with others via a cloud service, physical media, or another method, you'll need to export the video from iMovie to your Mac.

Open your completed iMovie project.

Click the share icon in the top right corner to open the Share tab.
