Unfortunately, the option to use emotes isn’t available right away and requires you to perform specific actions to unlock the skill. Even if you do unlock it, the process of emotes is a bit tricky, so let us walk you through the steps to emote your enemies in style.
You won't gain access to the ability to use emotes in Once Human until you complete the main quest, The Eve of Evolution, and unlock the Cosmetics menu.
Once you complete the mission and the Cosmetics menu is accessible, you can open it from your inventory screen by pressing I on your keyboard and from there open the Expressions tab. You will have an empty wheel on your right that you can click and drag each expression onto to perform the emotes in the game.
