To farm Compound Coating Material in The First Descendant, go to Echo Swamp and teleport to any Outpost location. We recommend Misty Woods or Muskeg Swamp.
Once you teleport there, press TAB/Right Stick/R3 to scan the area. Your scanner will ping the location of every Resource and Munition box in the area, so all you need to do is visit and collect them all. Misty Woods has two Munition boxes in the Outpost you teleport to, and you can find about five more in the same area.
