How to obtain and use the Exotic class item.
Much like Prismatic lets you mix the powers of Light and Dark, Exotic class items let guardians mix two Exotics. There’s a catch, though: they have random perk rolls, so there’s no way to ensure you’ll get the combination you want, and they only work with the new Prismatic subclass. There are plenty of options that could make this the best choice for Prismatic, even if you can presumably still use your old Exotics.

You'll receive your Exotic class item by completing the two-player Dual Destiny activity, which can be unlocked by defeating all of the Witch Queen's Secret Keepers after the Overthrow activities.
