Unlocking your Solstice armor is a big part of the annual Solstice celebration in Destiny 2. The unique armor set gives your Guardian a unique appearance and various bonuses while you wear them and participate in the festivities. For Solstice 2024, you'll be crafting them yourself using armor alloys.

There’s the Helmet Alloy, Gauntlet Alloy, Chest Alloy, Leg Alloy, and Class Item Alloy. You’ll use these resources at the Solstice Forge, where you’ll craft the armor and equip it onto your Guardian after completing it. Collecting these armor alloys can take up quite a bit of time in Destiny 2, but there are a few things you can focus on to make your life easier. Here are some of the best ways to farm Solstice armor alloys in Destiny 2.

While the armor alloys for each category of Solstice armor are your main priority, Silver Leaves also play a big role. You'll need them to purchase the bounties from the Solstice Forge, which will give you the armor alloy resources.

You can use Silver Leaves to purchase bounties or, after completing the Solstice 2024 main quest for Eva in Destiny 2, unlock the ability to reskin them for new bounties. During the Solstice 2023 event, the best way to farm Silver Leaves was to complete the Altars of Sorrow on the Moon, which is still the case. Now, it’s also a great way to grind armor alloys to start crafting your Solstice armor.
