The process is a bit cumbersome, as in most cases you have to find the IP address of a particular printer based on its name. But it is quite simple.
A first step worth trying is to visit the IP address in a browser. Some printers have web-based management tools and you may find that identifying at least the model of the printer helps.
If that doesn't help, open the Control Panel by opening the Start menu and typing control , then clicking on the app when it appears. You can also press Win+r , type control panel in the Run dialog box and press Enter .
