Fortnite’s 2024 edition of the Fortnitemares event has a ton of epic free rewards to claim. To earn them all, you’ll need to complete some tricky quests, like defeating Ultima Carver, which means you’ll need to know how to find and defeat him.

Ultima Carver is one of the more difficult enemies to find, as there’s nothing on the map to tell you where he’s located. You might never encounter him unless you visit the POI he’s hanging out at, and it’s not a popular place to visit. Defeating him in combat is essential for Fortnitemares, though, so here’s how to find and defeat Ultima Carver in Fortnite.

Ultima Carver can be found near the central area of Brawler's Patch, on the southeast side of the island. He usually hangs out near the central courtyard area, just in front of the giant pumpkin in the middle of the area that is attached to a lot of Ultima Carver overgrowth.

While he’s usually in the center of this area, he can wander around quite a bit, making him tricky to find at times. There’s no map marker to show his location like there is for other bosses like Emma Frost, Mysterio, and Doombot, so you’ll just have to circle around the area until you find him.
