Getting a Yutyrannus by your side will give you a powerful ally whose roar can be used to intimidate most hostile creatures you don’t want to deal with. This creature offers both great offensive and defensive skills, so you’ll need to know how to find and tame a Yutyrannus in Ark: Survival Ascended.
On the island, you’ll need to head to the super snowy area in the far north to find Yutyrannus. This creature is only found in this part of the island, though it’s fairly common, meaning it’s pretty easy to come across one as long as you’re in the right area.
On Scorched Earth, Yutyrannus is much more common than on the island, and is mainly found on the left side of the map. It is most abundant in the upper northern region of the Scorched Earth area, but it is also fairly easy to find in the southeastern area. There are also a few scattered in the right corner of the area, but they are much less common there.
