Stealth missions can quickly become tricky in Dragon's Dogma 2. In this guide, I'll walk you through the mission An Unsettling Encounter and help you find evidence in the Minister's room.

How to Complete the 'A Disturbing Encounter' Quest in Dragon's Dogma 2 (STEP-BY-STEP)

To dig up evidence in Allard's chamber during An Unsettling Encounter in Dragon's Dogma 2, you must begin this quest by waiting until nightfall. Once you enter the palace courtyard, you will be met by a female soldier, who will say that she has been instructed by Captain Brant to escort you to the back entrance.

Once inside the castle walls, avoid the palace guards as much as possible. They won’t react to your presence right away, but if you don’t stay away, they will attack you. Note: if you get arrested, don’t try to save scum, because it won’t work. The game has a built-in auto-saving trigger that will simply return you to your cell. You’ll have to break out of prison and try again to complete the mission.

When you enter the castle, exit the pantry and turn right. Continue down the hallway until you reach a staircase that should be on your left. Walk up two flights of stairs until you reach the first floor. If you encounter any guards along the way, try to ignore them and walk past them without making any sudden movements.
