Filmore the Blacksmith is one of the first friendly NPCs you'll encounter when you arrive on Isola Sacra. Not only will you need him to open the gate for you, but he can also repair your equipment and even buy and sell some items for you.

This is how you find Filmore the Blacksmith in No Rest for the Wicked.
Filmore the Blacksmith is located just outside the first locked gate you encounter in No Rest for the Wicked. Look for the massive campfire just before the gate. Directly south of the campfire is a locked door to the Mess Hall. Filmore is inside. If you get close to the door, you can hear Filmore getting beat up by a bunch of Risen.
To open the door to the dining room, you need the dining room key.
