Fortnite Chapter Five, Season Three, saw the return of many familiar mechanics, including Floating Islands. If you haven’t played in a while or are new to the game, here’s how to find and conquer a Floating Island in Fortnite.
How to EASILY Raise the Flag on the Fortnite Floating Island
Floating Islands will spawn closer to the end of the Fortnite match, around the third storm circle, as they did in previous chapters and seasons. Wait until you hear a rift sound and see a Loot Island marker on-screen. You can also find this marker on the map.
After the marker appears, you have about 30 seconds to get to the location before the island spawns. Of course, you don't have to get there right away, but it's your best chance to capture the Floating Island point and secure the sweet loot.
You can reach the island via ziplines attached to it, rifts or jump pads nearby. Once you’re on the island, look for a circle with a flag inside: that’s the Floating Island point. If you’ve played the previous chapter of Fortnite, you’ll recognize it quickly.
