The security of your online accounts depends heavily on the strength of your passwords. A weak password increases the chance of it being stolen. Using the same password for multiple online accounts also comes with its own risks. Sites help users take precautions against password theft by requiring passwords with a minimum of six or eight characters. Some sites may also ask for a capital letter, special character, and a number.
Remembering a plethora of complicated, unique passwords is not something you want to tax your brain with. Google offers users the ability to save passwords. The saved passwords can be auto-filled and viewed by the user, making it easy to log into online accounts.
Google has now upped the ante by giving users the ability to diagnose their passwords. With the version 88 update, this feature has been integrated into the Chrome browser. With this feature, you can see whether your password is weak or strong. If your password is weak, you can easily change it via the browser. By clicking a single button, you will be taken to the site where the change can be made.
Besides the shortcut to change password, you can also easily edit saved passwords.
