On my iPhone, my most-used keyboard function is probably undo. Sometimes it’s the quickest way to restart a sentence and try again. iPhones have a system-wide undo option (shake the device and you’ll see it), but I miss it when I’m using Android. Fortunately, it turns out that Gboard for Android, which comes standard on Pixel phones and devices running stock Android, has a hidden undo button.

To use your device's hidden undo key, you'll need to add a Japanese keyboard to Gboard for Android. For some reason, it's the only language that comes with a built-in undo key. Here's how to set it up:
Go to an app where you can see the keyboard on your Android phone. If you have Gboard installed, this should reveal it.
On your keyboard, hold down the globe key until a pop-up window appears.
