Problems with a frozen computer can occur in several ways:
What to do when your PC crashes?
Your Mac or Windows computer can crash unexpectedly. Sometimes the cause is not obvious or easy to fix.
The most common cause of computer crashes is software related. It could be software that is incompatible with your system, an app that is stuck in a loop, corrupt files such as faulty device drivers, or a virus or malware that writes to protected system memory or overwrites sensitive system files.
Another possible cause is damaged hardware, such as a bad hard drive or defective memory cards. If the defective memory contains OS-related boot code, the computer may not only crash, but also not boot.
