How to Fix Blue Screen Error Stop Code THREAD STUCK IN DEVICE DRIVER in Windows 10
The Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) error in Windows 10, “Thread stuck in device driver”, is caused when a specific driver gets stuck in an endless loop, waiting for the hardware to enter an inactive state.
This usually has to do with the driver hardware itself. Why would driver software do this? There could be a number of reasons. A few common reasons are a driver bug that was fixed in a recent update that you don't have yet. It could be a Windows bug that, again, was fixed in an update that you don't have.
In some cases, it can also be caused by a corrupted system file that is causing issues with the device driver.
