Fix DistributedCOM Event ID 10016 Error in Windows 10 and Windows 11
As a big techie, I hate it when my Windows machine doesn’t work perfectly. I think, if I can’t get my computer to work perfectly, what kind of techie am I? Obviously, trying to get everything to work perfectly means spending a lot of time troubleshooting issues that probably don’t cause any major problems with my system.
However, it is still fun and you learn a lot from it. In this article I will talk about how to fix the error that appears in Event Viewer regarding DistributedCOM. I noticed that I had no other errors in my system log except for a few per day with an event ID of 10016. The basic error message was the same:
