Working in a corporate environment as an IT support technician always means that you will have to deal with strange problems that would never happen on a normal consumer PC. Why? Well, because strange things can happen when you have 20 people on one computer!
One such error I recently encountered was when I was using Microsoft Office 2007 on a client computer. When I opened an Office program, I got this error:
After some research I figured out why this problem was happening. Apparently two people had Office installed on the same computer and one of them uninstalled it later. This can also happen if you deploy Office to your environment via Group Policy and it somehow gets installed twice.
