Microsoft Register Server has stopped working error message on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
One thing I have always enjoyed about working in IT for the past 8 years is trying to successfully troubleshoot annoying Windows error messages. I have written about this before, such as The device cannot start, Stop: 0x00000F4 error blue screen, etc.

I got this message when I tried to register a DLL using the regsvr32 command from the command line on Vista Ultimate x64. I have previously registered DLLs on Vista Business x32 without any problems, but had not tried it on the x64 edition.
