iPad accessibility features include the ability to zoom in on the screen, making icons and text appear larger and easier to see. Zoom also adds a square magnifier to the screen that localizes the effect only where you’re looking. Zoom makes it easier to read text on the iPad when small text becomes blurry. But sometimes zoom gets stuck and the screen magnification doesn’t change.
Turn Zoom on and off for iPad
If your iPad's zoom function gets stuck, there are several ways to fix the problem.
Double-tap the iPad screen with three fingers. Double-tap the screen with your index, middle, and ring fingers to toggle zoom on and off. This should fix the issue. To prevent this from happening again, turn off zoom in the iPad settings. Accessibility settings are located in the General section of the iPad settings.
Triple-click the Home button. Accessibility settings have a shortcut that lets you turn features on and off. To activate this shortcut, triple-click the Home button. If you have triple-click configured to zoom in on your iPad, triple-clicking zooms out. This is a common reason why zoom is turned on accidentally.
