Wi-Fi is a great convenience that offers flexibility and mobility that you don’t get with an Ethernet cable. If your Wi-Fi connection isn’t working properly on your iPad, there are several ways to fix a weak Wi-Fi signal.

If the problem is with the iPad, here are some things you can do to fix it.

Move closer to your router. If you’re in a separate room (or floor of the house) from your wireless hardware, the signal may not be strong enough by the time it reaches you. Walls and floors can weaken a Wi-Fi signal, making it weaker in different parts of a home, even if you’re within range.

Move the iPad closer to the router and see if the signal strength improves. If the connection is fast near the router but slows down in distant rooms, increase the signal strength.
