One of the following errors, or a combination of both, may be displayed in the STOP message:
HAL INITIALIZATION FAILED (STOP: 0x0000005C) Blue screen error
The error may be abbreviated to STOP 0x5C, but the full STOP code is always displayed in the STOP message on the blue screen.
If Windows can start after the error, you may receive the message Windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown with the following text:
