Zoom has made it easy for organizations, educational institutions, and everyday users around the world to host meetings and go about their daily lives. In addition to allowing up to 1,000 participants, adding co-hosts, waiting rooms, virtual backgrounds, and auto-saving chats, Zoom offers users a way to create your own virtual meeting room that is reserved for you, for as long as you want.
Invalid meeting ID
Users can create their own personal meeting rooms using their personal meeting ID (PMI) or personal link. This allows them to schedule future meetings or start a new meeting immediately.
Participants will then be able to join a meeting you created through the link to your PMI, unless you have enabled waiting rooms for newcomers or locked a meeting session.
One issue that users experience after creating a personal meeting ID is the error message "this personal link name is invalid". In the following post, we will explain why this error occurs and how to resolve it.
