Here's how to gain prestige in Phasmophobia and whether it's a good idea.

You can choose to Prestige in Phasmophobia when you reach level 100. Once you reach this level, you will be given the option to Prestige. As in many games, this option doesn't make sense. Fortunately, you don't have to Prestige if you don't want to. You can even reach level 999 and never Prestige, but there are a few reasons why you should.

As in many games with this option, you will be reset to level 1 when you play Prestige in Phasmophobia. This means you will have to play the game as if it were your first time, and unlock and go through the ascension system again.
