Yes, there is a way to generate images without spending your account’s Fast Minutes on Midjourney. By default, all your creations on Midjourney are processed using Fast Mode, which takes on average about 1 minute of GPU time to render an image. Please note that multiple generations, upscaling, using custom aspect ratios, and running generations on older Midjourney models will incur additional charges.

If you don’t want to use your account’s GPU time, i.e. your Fast Minutes, Midjourney offers a free solution that you can use for image generation. The solution involves using the platform’s Relax Mode, which is available to all Midjourney paying subscribers.

Relax Mode lets you create as many images as you want, with no limits, and none of your creations will count against your GPU time. At this time, Relax Mode can only be used by Midjourney Standard, Pro, and Mega subscribers; it is therefore not available to users signed up for Midjourney's Basic plan.
