To get this item, you'll need to talk to the Lantern Keeper NPC who can be found in Moosewood at night, near the lighthouse. However, some players have reported that he can be found elsewhere in Moosewood during the day as well. If you don't want to wait until night, you can use the Sundial Totem which changes the time of day. This can be collected in a cave on Sunstone Island, near a fishing pond.
