One of the best ways to keep track of your playtime is to get Stopwatch in Animal Well. There are several items that you can collect in this game. Some, like Firecrackers and Top, are needed to solve puzzles and progress. While others are used more passively. Stopwatch works as the latter. So here’s what you need to do to unlock it, where to find it, and how to use it.

You can retrieve the Stopwatch from the giant clock room after defeating the final boss. The character you are looking for is none other than the squirrel who you can find quite quickly after making your initial progress.
As explained above, this is not an item like the Bubble wand, Top or others that you can use normally. It can be used to check your playtime of the current save in the pause screen.
Please note that many players are complaining that it is bugged. What happens is that even after you have had it, you don't see your time on the pause screen. If you have the same problem, you can try restarting your game or verifying files to see if that helps.
