To unlock and obtain the Affinity Booster in Monster Hunter World, players will need to complete all of the optional quests in the Research Base. There are a series of quests given by different NPCs in the Research Base that will help you obtain the booster. Each optional quest is given by a different NPC, so you will have to look forward to interacting with each of them.
That being said, you will need to activate the quest chain by completing the optional quest A Tingling Taste in MHW. Since the quest doesn't have a bubble mark, you will need to track down a high-rank Pukei-Pukei and discover a Great Girros in the game at the same time.
