While the main goal is to promote new in-game characters through the Gacha system, there is also a list of free characters in Wuthering Waves. For now, there are 7 free characters waiting for you to claim them. They are scattered throughout certain points in the game where you have to complete tasks and unlock them for good. It is possible that you may miss out on these characters, so here is a guide to help you unlock them.

Rover is the main character in Wuthering Waves and is automatically unlocked from the start.

You can unlock Rover with the Havoc element immediately after completing the main mission Grand Warstorm in Act VI.
