After the Stardew Valley version 1.6 content update, it is now possible to keep multiple pets in your plot. While it is a nice addition, it can be quite a nuisance when your pet is around, especially when we know which one is always lurking in your path. As if one wasn’t enough, now you have two. Luckily for us, there is now a way to remove them from your farm with an item called Butterfly Powder.
How to get purple pets in Stardew Valley!
Since the patch note doesn’t tell you much about this item, you must be curious about where to find it, how much it costs, who sells it, and how to use it. The answer to all those questions is below, so scroll down and find out everything you need to know about this powder.
The Butterfly Powder is part of the permanent stock of Krobus' Shop. Krobus has an unlimited supply of them; each costs 20,000g. You can find Krobus in The Sewers, which you unlock with the Rusty Key. The Rusty Key is given to you by the Museum curator Gunther after donating 60 artifacts or mineral items.
There are two entrances to The Sewers. One is in the south of Pelican Town and is easy to find, as the sewer lid is underneath. The other is in the south of Cindersap Forest, where you use the Rusty Key to unlock the area. Once you have the powder, you should check out another item in Krobus' Shop called the Return Scepter. It is the most expensive item in the shop, but is very useful for those who like to explore monster layers late into the night.
