To do this, you'll need an item called a Lockpick. If only it were that easy to find one.
There are two ways to get a Lockpick in Dark and Darker, and both are heavily dependent on RNG: Chests and Monster Drops.
There is no guarantee that you will find a Lockpick, as there are no more static drops. The best way to get them is to increase the difficulty of your game mode by doing high-roller runs or by defeating bosses such as the Skeleton Champion, which has a higher drop chance.
