Once you have a few widgets installed, using them is easy. Just swipe down to open Notification Center and swipe through to find the widget you want.
Some widgets don’t do much (the Yahoo Weather widget, for example, just shows your local weather with a nice photo). For those widgets, you just tap on them to go to the full app.
